1951-56Co-founder and rector of the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Ulm (FRG), head of the architecture and design departments
1961-64Chief architect of the "Art of Living - Education and Creation" section of the Swiss National Exhibition, Lausanne
1967-74Professor of Interior Design at the Staatliche Hochschule für bildende Kunst in Hamburg
