Club 44 armchairs
Rare armchairs by Italian designer Angelo Mangiarotti, who in 1957 designed the interior of Club44. A cultural club located in La Chaux-de-Fonds where numerous personalities from the world of the arts rubbed shoulders. Around 300 seats were created for Club44. Frame in solid mahogany, seat and back in mahogany veneered panels with solid mahogany side bracing. Cushions certainly original (which is why we've kept them as they are). It would be easy to remake new cushions, we leave the choice to the future buyer ) The cushions are in average condition with several stains and wear. The seat is in very fine original condition, with traces of normal use for this type of chair. Sold separately.
