1936-39Studied at the Swiss Ceramic School in Chavannes-Renens
1939-45Worked in the industry as a turner, in parallel with technical training and artistic activity
1945-55Head of operations at Tonwerk AG and later at Lander + Co. personal workshop, research on stoneware and first participations in group exhibitions.
1955-56Workshop in Geneva
1956-68Returned to the ceramic industry as plant manager and later technical director at Ceramic SA in Gland. Teaches ceramic technology at the School of Decorative Arts in Geneva. Continues his artistic activity in his workshop in Duillier.
1968Leaves the industry for good to devote himself exclusively to his artistic production
1960-68Member of the federal commission for applied arts, then hopes for ceramics for many years
1979-84Chairman of the ceramics sub-committee of the Centre d'enseignement professionnel de Vevey. From 1965, member of the International Academy of Ceramics and 1971, member of the Council of the Academy. Member of the jury in 1971, 75 and 85 at the Faenza Biennial, in 1972 and 74 at the Valauris Biennial, from 1979 to 1982 member of the jury for the integration of the arts at the University of Zurich
