Rare celadon-glazed porcelain vase. For this vase, Edouard Chapallaz chose porcelain over stoneware, which is quite rare in the artist's output. The vase's hue, the thickness of the finely crackled glaze and its atypical turned shape are a fine example of the virtuosity of this great Swiss ceramist of international renown. Stamped and handwritten signature under the base, circa 1970-80. The ceramic is in perfect condition.
