Stoneware vase by Swiss artist Edouard Chapallaz. Exceptional black glaze with a grainy texture and a smooth black finish slightly marbled with brown. A rare example of Chapallaz’s work featuring this glossy-matte contrast, entirely in black. Thrown and assembled piece, signed on the base, circa 1980. Ceramic in perfect condition.
