Lido chair
Early version of the famous "Lido" chair by the Giudici brothers. Very rare with original chrome finish, produced by the Fratelli Giudici workshop, between 1938 and 1945. A transitional version from 1946 is in the Gestaltung Museum in Zurich. Identical version for the base of the seat and the top of the seat is already modified in '50s version. Our two chairs are one of the very first versions created and what is really special about these two chairs is this chrome finish. In most cases, the tubular outdoor furniture was zinc plated and not chrome. The chairs are completely original for the tubular steel frame, the fabrics are new (Wohnbedarf production, Switzerland), the original armrests no longer existed, they were replaced.
